Not really getting where the hate for Gervais is coming from. To me he remains a great example of the comedian who always punches up and never punches down.

I have similar stories too (went to NYU in grad school, had many gay, bi friends). I’ve never had any gay person give two shits in bars when I danced or had a little PDA with my then-boyfriend. Although I wish they did. He was an asshole.
