Yeah, 15 million is a LOT on the excessive side. Some apologies are definitely owed, and so is some damages money, perhaps, but no one was “emotionally distressed” so badly that they needed 15 million dollars of compensation. Also, while I will admit that the whole arrest and whatnot of Ahmed was uncalled for, a

Ok, some “churches” are like that, but that is not what Christianity is about, like, AT ALL. Try reading the Bible with an attitude of “this might be true” and you will see that Christianity is not a money making scheme. Some people abuse it, but that is because we are not perfect. We are ALL messed-up, sinful,

It breaks my heart to read this story. Truly, the men who sexually abused these girls ought to have received harsher punishment than was doled out. And I do think Mr. Wilson was not right in laying so much of the blame on the parents of Natalie. This truly was an abuse of a good system.

*Sigh...* This is not an easy topic to tackle. First of all, I will admit you are correct in saying that Jesus commanded His followers to care for the sick, the poor, the orphans, the widowed, etc. If I sat down next to a man who had nothing to eat, it would be my Christian duty (and my pleasure) to get the man food.

No, that is not how it works. Some “Christians” will do just that, but those who truly seek truth from Scripture and wish to honor God do not pick and choose their Scripture.
