Dude wants to add mandatory rest stops between two places and shorten your total travel time.

It is priced wrong. It should have been priced $99 for a single pack and $279 for a pack of threes. Newer versions and colors would then be rolled out every year. Heck, they could have added AirTag features and they could have priced it at $149 for a pack of one and $399 for three.  Missed opportunity I would say.

I don’t recollect Tim Cook having a national dialogue in China. This is just a PR stunt, plain and simple and works for Apple either way.
