Free beer AND we share equipment with other teams during races.....I'm pretty proud to be a Canadian right now.

I'm only teary because my cat allergy has been triggered. Yep. Through the computer. Shut up. It totally happened.

My thoughts exactly.

Archer's mom approves.

I saw it splashing out when she was spinning.

I can see where you're coming from. There are so many things in this world that used to be private and now are public. I feel like a cool picture of the rings is a nice addition to a wedding album, but it sure gets overplayed when you get a flip book on Facebook.

I grew up in a rural area— kids got excused absences from school when they had to stay home and help with calving and harvest. Farming is hard, hard work and farmers don't have much time for romance. Farmer's wives work—my friend married a farmer and her 9-5 job pays the bills. It sucks. Reality is boring and

Mr. Hot farmer won't have time for you because he has chores to do. Also, he'll track animal poo into your house and he'll smell like poo too.

I have a friend who's a photog and she just loves taking pictures of the rings. No reason, she just likes to figure out how to pile them up and take a cool shot. If the bride is wearing a really great shoe, she'll often get the shoe in the ring shot too.

Mittens and hats. My winter coat is black. Winter is too fucking long, I like to switch up my accessories.

Isn't Nate generally auto-tuned to within an inch of his life on recordings? I don't think I've ever heard him hold a tune in a live performance.

I just did a quick little search and the Intertubes tells me that there are probably 300 cruise ships out on the ocean, doing what they do, on any given day.

Seriously. The cruises that go off without a hitch don't make the news.

I love my Mirena. I am Team Mirena 4EvR, or at least until Menopause.

Clearly, you've never tried Buckley's mixture. This sounds like a gourmet treat in comparison.

Indoors: in addition to my regular tank top/sweater/jeans combo: wool socks, fingerless mitts, lightweight woollen hat that is too short to cover my ears, woven scarf and or wool shawl. Outdoors: full-length down coat, knee high emu boots, trade lightweight woolen hat for hand-knit hat knit from chunky weight

I totally just cut and pasted that to spam all of my FB friends.

(Manitoban here) We have block heaters to keep the oil warm so our cars will start. Also, winter tires are essential. My car starts just fine because I have an insulated garage, but when I didn't I had to plug it in for several hours if I wanted to go anywhere. If you're really spoiled you have a remote car starter

My kids walk to school when it's -40. This morning was -50 so I drove them, but they walked home b/c it warmed up to -38 over the course of the day. This is just January. Nothing to freak out about.
