The NFL rules regarding a completed pass are archaic and obtuse. Even after reading all the verbiage it is clear to me Dez Bryant's play should have been ruled a completed pass and then a fumble.

I kinda like Jay Cutler, but I have to admit that the success McCown had last year was a HUGE indictment of Cutler. This is tame for Giangreco. He regularly sits in with the ESPN AM1000 afternoon show (housed in the same building where they broadcast ABC7 new {Disney![synergy!]}) and boy does he ever reel-off some crazy inappropriate jokes. Wasn't this kid all that and a bag of chips in his rookie season? And then he got hurt. And people wanted him to get well soon. Then he did and got hurt again, but stayed in the game for the good of the team. Now he's a bum all of a sudden?

Why? Why do you let a guy set himself up for a three point shot in that situation? He should have been fouled as soon as he put his hands on the ball—make him shoot two and get the ball back with a 1 point lead.
