When I close my eyes I see things too. Geometric shapes, wave motion, etc ... does this indicate there's something wrong? I thought it was normal. I read somewhere that it was the brain attempting to make sense of the absence of stimuli. Its especially more pronounced if I'm listening to white noise (a sleep machine

I like that. Good eye!

Woah, in that "Wink of an Eye" montage I'm totally seeing Leslie Mann and Anna Kendrick. What the hell? They haven't aged a day!

I feel robbed that we never got a Star Trek: Sulu series or movie. "Warp factor 9! Oh, my!"

This question assumes Supes would be battling the Death Star in a system with a yellow star. Yellow star = Flawless Superman victory. A different color star (red!) = Flawless Death Star victory.

Its okay, fella. You brought up a good concern.

I'm with you. I used to adore this show because of the characters ... but they've been through so many alternate realities that ... the future tense they're in now, I just can't connect.

Symbolism, Alan. He's fighting someone who wields a sword in this movie ... maybe it belongs to that person and he had to whack 'em ... someone who used to be his friend? He has a love interest in this movie as well who wields a sword ... maybe its her's and he's mourning her death?

That's a pretty awesome joke all by itself. Well done!

Sounds like a really warped nod to Star Trek: Insurrection

Great catch! You're right ... an underwater portal —- which ties in to the ending of Half-Life 2 Episode 2 mythos that point to a ship lost at sea ... a ship owned by Aperture Science conducting experiments involving PORTALS.

Heheh ... watch ... they'll end up doing exactly everything Rob doesn't think they should do.

Did that really happen? I seem to recall the details of the story were more like Apple wanted Google to update its Maps application to do turn-by-turn navigation assistance and Google declined (to protect said feature on its Android devices—a decision I think its a pretty smart one). Apple wanted this functionality

Apple need feel no shame. One company has EXTENSIVE experience in mapping software, considerable infrastructure support and several years head-start. The other has just made its first attempt into the market. Guess which one wins the first round?

Absolutely agree. The massive baggage that voice will carry for a small segment of the audience will be delicious. I hope she glitches and plays a major role in a twist or something.

I damn near pissed myself when I heard the voice. I thought, "Coincidence?" And then when I heard several more lines I was like, "Oh, Hell yeah! They fucking put GLaDOS in this movie on purpose. Nice!"

Are you speaking in general terms about a spoiler setup? Or are you specifically talking about this post? If its the former than I gotcha, good idea. If its the latter than you look like a troll—hence the ire. The title of the post is crystal clear. And even then—there isn't anything spoilery contained there-in. Its

I appreciate the article—but, they're just movies; they don't have to be coherent. So while the excercise in assembling the various ways the X-men movie-verse is confusing, its really academic masturbation.

Now that's a teaser ... gives you a bunch of glimpses without telling you anything except stuff will be exploding (shocker!). I hope the full trailer assuages my fears for the franchise.

Good grief was Yvonne Craig hot! That Batgirl suit is nice, but I prefer her costume from Star Trek's "Whom Gods Destroy". And dancing!
