@jodark: A bicycle can be driven on the sidewalk, but doesn't count as a pedestrian when ridden with traffic (or even when in the crosswalk some places).

IANAL, but since he was using a public facility (the road), I guess the the Americans with Disabilities Act says he can't be discriminated against based on his disability.

@slyman928: How about people stop being selfish and start dying? Increasing lifespan is just as problematic.

My kid and I ran to Lowes yesterday in The Most Obvious Answer To This Question. I keep thinking I'm about to put it away for the winter, but it's so damn convenient for transporting oddly shaped cargo, and if you dress right it's kinda fun to drive in cold weather.

Am I the only northerner here who sees that and gets a bit jealous?

@AndiC: Yes that is obvious the more you eat the more likely you are to gain weight, however, food eaten after 5pm is harder to burn off than food eaten during the day (even if it was the same amounts per day eaten at different times). Also sleep has been proven to help calorie burn off.

I remember going out with my parents to test drive cars back in ~1990. We went to the VW dealership and drove a Jetta. The salesman convinced my parents that VW didn't put airbags in any of their cars because in an accident your eyeglasses would first come off your face, then get shot back at you by the airbag and
