@julieannie: How about the part where he OK'd the assassination of an American citizen without any judicial oversight?

Someone enlighten me: does the lopey idle come as the result of a performance enhancement, or is just there to sound badass? If the former, awesome. If the latter, lame. It seems like, here in 2010, we should be able to make a car idle smoothly without sacrificing performance.

@radryan03: Clown shoe is undeniably great. Though I guess that's more of a contemporary.

Sometimes it's awesome to have cookies with salty spots in 'em. In most cookies I make, I do a pinch of table salt and then a bunch of large-grained salt. It's especially yummy in a really dense molasses-y oatmeal cookie.

@Hasteur: Headphones, dude. :)

I'm going to vote nice price. This is not my thing, but it looks well executed, it's pretty damn impressive and entirely unique.

Air horns. E-Code H4 lights on any car that'll take 'em. CG Lock. Progressive linear bump stops on any car with old crappy solid rubber ones (I'm looking at you, Miata!). Wink mirrors.

Last year I got a fresh goose 2 weeks before thanksgiving. Rather than freeze it, I cured the bird in pink salt for a few days and then smoked it on thanksgiving. It was like a combination of corned beef and goose and convinced me that everyone should just give up turkey for smoked goose because turkey sucks.

M30 powered BMW's FTMFW. At this point both the 633i and 533i are old enough to be classics, and the 635csi and 535is look the part. Both cars have drivetrains as reliable as a Volvo 240 or diesel W124, but are 1000% more fun to drive.

Sports cars are only as good as how hard you can drive them. I could afford a $70K car (Well, if I didn't have kids) but I couldn't afford to write one off at Mid-Ohio and I couldn't drive it more than 5/10ths on the street without going to jail.

@jupiterthunder: Lands End makes great shirts for $40 (now that they have a tailored fit option), lets you build a custom one for ~$50, and has a killer return policy.

This sucks particularly hard because even if it were insured it'd take for-frickin-ever to reacquire all those parts and tools.

@Spasticteapot: And then spend exactly how much to get it competitive in its class?

@timgray: Jailbreak. Use Snappy + Activator and you can launch the camera from a locked phone in about 1 second.

If someone is asking me, I default to the Camry. 'cause really, they just want a safe choice.

E34 M5. Sandwiched between the gorgeous E28 and the monster V8 E39, but a better handler and much less outrageous looking vehicle than either. Plus, it was hand assembled.

Track days aren't "racing", but they're they're by far the cheapest track time. I can get about an hour of track time at a nice facility for $60 on test and tune evenings (3 nights a week for almost 6 months). I don't think there's anything cheaper than that per minute.

1. Yes. Especially snow tires.

Bullshit.
