@jbarr: Funny thing is, the only stuff with twist off caps is the crap people were drinking back in the 20th century before they knew beer could be good. I can't remember the last time I drank a beer with a twist off cap.

I vote nice price. It's super funky, there are very few of them left, this is probably the best of them and I dig the fenders and that awesome hood. Not exactly practical or fast, but that's so not the point.

Any car with bumper stickers.

There's what damages the car, and there's what annoys people on here. The two have nothing to do with each other.

This motor sounded awesome, but not as awesome as the M88/S38.

@SerialThriller: 117 mph would probably seem more than adequate on a dry creek bed or cresting a dune.

The Charger's greatest downfall as a car makes it a perfect cop car. HORRIBLE visibility from inside the cabin. As soon as you round the A-pillar you're home free unless they're putting a periscope in these things now.

@pauljones: All true. One of the british car rags did a test a few years ago, autocrossing some classics (on period correct tires) against modern minivans, with entirely predictable results.

This is why I'm against the public option.

I'm a little impressed by someone with the balls to drive one of these things flat out.

@Matt White: I'm guessing the goal was to get the license and then go for a *lot* more speed. Hence the lack of wing.

@layabout: I dunno if it's what he's really got, but we're not talking about depression. Bipolar (manic-depressive) disorder is completely different.

I can't deal with commercial radio, so it's all public radio. WUOM, WDET and WEMU here in SE Michigan. The music ain't what it used to be on the last two, but who listens to music on the radio now?

@GasGuzzler: Did you read it? The article ended on: "Real car people don’t care about color," he said. "Grease is grease."

See if you can spot 8 Mile.

I get more pissed off about the things that car people say than the things that non-car people say. Just because you know about the car part doesn't mean you're somehow an expert on transportation policy.

I know absolutely *nothing* about the appropriate price for these cars in good condition. Rust free ones don't show up much in SE Michigan
