@AyUaxe: Have you ever used a ceramic cooker? That's like saying your home oven is as good as a commercial convection oven. A cheap grill does not grill as well as an Egg, and it _definitely_ doesn't bake or slow cook as well.

@KamWrex: As someone who worked as a butcher for several years, you don't seem to know a tremendous amount about the industry.

@pauljones: Any car that costs more than $30K is a waste, isn't it? For less than $30K you can get a perfectly functional brand new sports car that handles with way more finesse than the ZR1. High-end sports cars are about waving your money around, not about racing. You want something to race, you get a Miata or

Backed up by solid clinical trials, I'm sure.

@ppiddy: Also, seriously, FOURTY FOUR. Someone got the magic genes.

BMW has lost its way when a 44 year old design is that much hotter than the new model.

My neck hurts just watching this.

@Tijuana Taxi: I dunno about the driver. Awfully easy to critique from my 0 horsepower desk.

It's a little rich, but if it's mostly cancer free....hm. All the only other cars that fit into the light, nimble, upgradable sedan niche are about the same price or ridiculously more expensive. I'd be hard pressed to choose between a nice 510 and a nice 2002.

@RobNoxious: And chances are, the media won't start reporting on this for at least another few weeks. That means it'll remain *effective* for a while.

Watch what you say.

@Nürburgring: I'd love an M3, but without rear seats, yeah, it's kind of missing the point.

People who bitch about how complex computers have made cars have forgotten about these crazy things. Carbs are beautiful, but wow...a _lot_ of mechanical engineering brain power went into that thing.

@maximum_sarge: Many states also require that landowners allow people to cross their property to access rivers and lakes or parks. Some places allow hunting on all unenclosed lands as well. There are a lot more exceptions (game wardens can travel pretty freely, as can gas/water meter readers and utility companies,

@AustinMiniMan: And an angle grinder (with a few cutoff wheels) is one of those things you'll find LOTS of uses for. Very few problems can't be solved with a shower of sparks.

I've got a 4 year old Snapper. Their most basic model (I think), though their stuff isn't particularly inexpensive. 4-stroke, pull start, unpowered (push, you lazy bastard!). Way more steel in its construction than the other mowers I looked at. It's a total tank.

@Ben Wojdyla: Low probability is getting hit by space junk or dying of a shark attack.

@Baby beater Benz: Lots of 6's sound awesome. In terms of engine sound, I'll put a flat-6 or I-6 up against a V8 any day. A 911 with megaphones makes me cry. V6's are tougher, but I can think of a few awesome ones.

Any car owned by someone my age or younger is totally out of the question. Ideal car: dealer serviced, full records, one-owner, recently deceased and over 55.
