IMO, it’s not worth insuring older beater cars because the $ that the insurance will pay out is less than you will have paid in premiums or even the deductible.

My daugther resents me for having sold our Wrangler (because she used to make forts when it was parked) and my parents for selling their blue house (because it had a cool attic)!

It’s my wife’s daily driver ... it doesn’t haul anything except her lunch bag and the occasional shopping bag.

I especially miss the custom ones that you would buy at Canadian tire (or equivalent crap car parts store in the US) that would have lettering on them!
