The stuff sold here is technically just glorified firecrackers. There are no real fireworks, so there’s no danger outside of about 15 feet... and even then you’d just get minor burns if you were closer. Would have been nice to look for a fire extinguisher rather than stand around and film it, though.

So.. You could say that mussels are helping us by sequestering carbon and buffering ocean acidity? Maybe we should stop eating them to say ‘Thank You’? Or maybe just stop allowing them to be ruined at places like the Olive Garden and Red Lobster? That’s a good compromise, right?

The easy fix for this is to deposit all

I’m not sure a smoke screen is very useful... I mean... The cops have to back up, but it’s not like you’re going to disappear... They just have to follow the smoke!

I was looking for this video yesterday and I couldn’t find it for some reason....

The chain lube should flush out any contaminants between the pins and rollers, and a standard Park Tool chain cleaner with some Simple Green will do the job of degreasing.

And you should be cleaning and lubing your chain every 100 miles or so. If you ride regularly and only clean your chain once a year, even soaking

Wow... Bill Clinton front and center when an entire room is applauding the denouncement of the things he created. And they still love him...

Why are we back on carbon sequestration??? I thought we finally realized how horrible an idea that was. We NEED carbon. Natural carbon sequestration is why we’re in a cycle of ice ages. Locking the essential building block of life away is a Very Bad Thing™. Looking back at the biological and geological history of

Adding to what you said about the Japanese not caring

Not everyone is into FF. I’m old AF but I didn’t know who she was.

Native Americans aren’t from Arizona either. They’re from Northern Asia.... but you’re right, everyone else is from California ;)

You bumped the case so the CD that is in there is not seated properly and jams against the top of the drive when the door tries to open.

The fix is easy, just use a propane torch to melt the disc.

Glasses and contacts aren’t equivalent. Glasses make everything look smaller. They only work for what’s directly in front of your face and if you have a strong-ish prescription anything that isn’t in the center of your field of vision will be blurry. There’s also a difference in color saturation between contacts and

I have 3 kids (now adults). You’re making excuses. I can only think of one occasion when one of my kids started to get out of hand in public and we handled it by picking him up and removing him from the store.

Kids will do whatever they want unless you let them know they aren’t in charge. Properly disciplined kids

There is a typo in the article... The facility is called “Isengard”, not “Ivanpah”. Easy mistake to make.

Why is him being a black lives matter activist relevant? How does that add to the story? Or are you trying to associate the BLM movement with criminal activities in the minds of your readers?

I’ve never had kimchi, and I’m sure it’s wonderful, but isn’t this essentially saying “how to make your cabbage taste like it is rotten without waiting for it to rot”?

The Gamers: Dorkness Rising is the best case scenario for a D&D movie IMO. It really highlights what it is to play. An extension of the cartoon is acceptable, too, but trying to make this like the World of Warcraft movie would be a mistake... That’s not what D&D’s about.

Making a film of D&D ignores what makes D&D so great and that’s the interaction. It’s a role-playing game. The participants shape the story (at least with a good DM). You’re not reading a book. You are world building. You are creating lore by the very act of playing.

A movie may be set in the Forgotten Realms, but

That list goes from meh to dropping off a cliff WAY before anyone gets thrown off a dam

She is currently one of my favorite people. Her collab with Adam Savage was awesome. Great sense of humor and they played very well off each other.
