That might be their plan, but the reality is as their incline grows, their losses increase. They are doing the old “we lose money on each car sold, but we make it up in volume.” Truth is, VC and debt is the only thing keeping Tesla chugging along.

Hate to say it dude, some people buy the trucks because they just..like them. Not all men are so caught up in dick size that they feel the need to “compensate” by buying a Ford truck. Not even sure how that would compensate in the first place.

That was my guess as well, except I’m thinking it is just the end point on a cartel delivery route that’s been leveraging the Ford factories in Mexico. Steal the car, take the drugs, return the car, maybe they thought nobody would notice/care.

GM’s RS has always stood for rally sport. Also, it has always been an appearance package. Not sure why anyone would realistically compare this to a modern Ford ST in any way, that’s not its intent.

I believe the Edge ST is legit miles apart from its base version, so another mistake by the author. This RS Traverse is just a sport trim where the Edge ST has bigger brakes, lot more power, stiffer springs, etc...

That’s exactly what this is. Just an appearance package to look more ‘sporty’. But this is Jalopnik, so everyone expects an “RS” to be a track-day special.

Back in the day, the RS trim versions were often not much more than appearance and light handling packages. Heck, for 4th gen Camaros, the RS was a V6 Camaro with side skirts and a higher lip spoiler. So, I suppose it fits that bill.
