do you think they’ll really set it up for flat track use, i.e. stiff suspension with limited travel?

...which I can not wait to see in the flesh!
LOL, their big bikes were just as shit as their small bikes back then. It doesn’t change the fact that Harley has built small, light, cheap(ish) bikes in the past.
I mentioned this in another post, but Harley DOES have precedence for a pretty solid market shift - assuming they’re willing to jump in with both feet.
Honestly, I’m at a loss as to how a street tracker (especially a proper street tracker) would piss off the traditionalists. I have to imagine that for every tassel bedecked dentist, there’s someone in their 30s-50s thinking ‘You know who were really fuk’n cool? Steve McQueen, and the rest of the petrol head Jet Set.”…
Juuuuuuuuust a Heads up. This bike is intended to be a production version of a flat-tracker, not a scrambler. They both have the kickass high-pipes (which may or may not make it to the production - something something safety something catalysts), but one is intended to run over light offroad terrain while the other is…
I get where you’re coming from, but as has been mentioned a couple of times before, this basically the price that new base model Fiatas are going for. It’s also worth noting that while all cars depreciate, some depreciate faster than others. I see these cars bottoming out hard over the course of 3-4 years (Think…
While I agree it would have done better, there were a NUMBER of key factors that absolutely killed the retro T-Bird, even it it was an admittedly cool car.
I think you’re thinking of the S3, as opposed to the A1.
Why would you want the gussied up version of the Polo when you already have the gussied up version of the Golf? Your car is bigger, cheaper, looks to be about as luxurious, and has the same power as the top spec. A1 engine.
If you think that irrationality or aggressive reactionary behavior are linked to education or social status, you’ve CLEARLY never driven through Chicago. Few people get road rage as bad as a D-Suite businessman driving his wife’s luxury CUV. (or said businessman’s wife driving her luxury CUV)
Not bad suggestions, whatsoever.
SO MUCH THIS!!! I-65 is astonishing for the number of people who like to camp in the left lane, and who do so knowing it’s not where they’re supposed to be. Oddly, the best solution for these folks (assuming that they aren’t speed matching the person next to them - a Kentuckiana pastime) is to pass on the right, and…
Honestly, for the mileage and condition, that price is not bad for one of these. That Atlas engine really was a gem, and with a smaller, smoother engine in front of it, the 4l60e’s in these tended to live long happy lives. What generally kills these things (especially in the Midwest) is a combination of rust and…
I have, and it is - surprisingly and to your point - extremely roomy back there. The rear room addendum was focusing on knee room in the Versa Note (not so spectacular) and the Focus (legit bad legroom - It’s like a mustang back there). Now... All of these options are going to lose out to the full-size players in rear…
Good snag! One friendly thought here. Be sure to get the car out on the highway and burn through a full tank of Gas every couple of months. Just like with cars that sit around forever, it can be hard on an IC engine to go through temperature and weather cycles without getting a chance to run at temperature and under…
...then the majority of craigslist users* will continue to offer somewhere in the neighborhood of 80% of asking, just to see whether they can make it stick.
Absolutely love motorcycles, and commute when I can. THAT SAID - unless you live in the city and are all about that delivery service life, a motorcycle is not generally viable as a sole form of transportation. Even among the US riding community, the vast majority of riders have a bike as a second (or third) vehicle.
So two thoughts on the matter:
As someone with already shit posture, who prefers to have their seat upright, I know that struggle. Fortunately my go to make tends to be good about headrest placement.
