To be fair, you do have a bit of a point regarding how much time I spend in the back seat of my own car, I do wind up driving people around who are the same size I am. Whether it’s a work trip across town or a road-trip with family and/or friends, my cars will wind up carrying people in the back seat about 300mi/month

I’m no big fan of the GTI, but the interiors are absolutely spectacular, well thought out, and massive from a passenger space perspective. I can sit behind myself with inches to spare for my knees. The ATS, meanwhile, is well and truly tiny on the inside. I’m 5'11", and I can’t sit behind myself without sitting knees

Just to be clear, any amortized loan with compounding interest (the sort of loan you’re allowed to pay off early), is going to have you paying the bulk of your interest up front. The idea is that you pay the same coupon rate to the bank throughout the duration of the loan. At the start of the loan, the majority of the

Flex-fuel conversions are surprisingly cheap nowadays, eliminating the need to ensure a consistent source of E85. Caught shor away from a seller? Just toss some regular ol’ 93 in the tank.

All of this is true...

As far as I can tell, the Discovery empire has gone like this:

The real reason no one buys an ATS-V:

Third Hand “Don’t give a shit”

The Engineer(rrrrrr...) knows what’s up. Remington is going out of business, not because the firearms market has tanked, but because their products just aren’t competitive. The products they make well - namely shotguns, bolt action rifles (the model 700s, at least), 1911 pattern handguns, and modern sporting rifles

Haha, legit. If you’re aware of what you’re getting into on the back seat front, those 4Runners are outstanding. If I had any need for a BOF SUV, that’d be at the head of the list.

The worlds most garbage tires?

Love the 4Runner. Just be aware that it is NOT meant to be a 3rd row vehicle, and will legitimately only fit persons between 3'5" and 4'6" in the back row. They’re great trucks, but they’re definitely not a minivan alternative.

Wholly shit!

Unfortunately, manufacturers don’t send them from the factory with 150k miles on the clock and a $2,500 price tag, so most of the US mini-truck proponents will not be interested in actually buying one.

Not going to lie. I have literally never been asked about what I’d be using anything I rented from U-Haul for. Most of the folks who would be renting you anything don’t know squat about the equipment they’re renting, nor do they generally care. Effectively, you are going to have to be the voice of reason when deciding

At these stations, you still have to press a button to spec. out what fuel you want. Here’s an example. It’s E-85 and E-30 instead of diesel, but you get the idea.

First things first: Before I even start, here, know that this commentary is specific to the Model X. I happen to think that the Model S is an outstanding car, which looks good in a restrained sort of way. What’s more, while I do have some SERIOUS issues with Tesla, they’re financial as opposed to ideological, I.E. I

Can’t argue with you, there.

Outstanding video.

Before I start, here, understand that I do agree with your point in theory, and concede that it probably is what Tesla’s designers were thinking (possibly - nay probably - while on a coke bender)
