Yeah, none of those are new. Ever since they got the backscatter/millimeter wave scanners they’ve told everyone to have nothing in their pockets. They even ask you right before you step into the device. And you’ve always been able to opt out of them.

Not federally mandated.

I once said something was gay while playing call of duty in a room where I was one of two straight people, and maybe 7 or 8 gay people were also there. I was horrified as soon as I said it, my (gay) brother-in-law started giving me shit about it, and one of his gay friends told him to quit being such a fag. I’m not

You do realize that kids learn words long before they learn what they actually mean? And once you form habits with words they’re hard to break?

Have you ever used the word "stupid" or "dumb"? Because you're essentially being insensitive to the mentally handicapped by implying they need a descriptor word to separate them from the rest of us.

I’m not referring to people with opinions about news stories, I’m explicitly calling the art students at Emory college (who protested “Trump 2016" written in chalk) crybaby, oversensitive cowards. Life is really, really hard for almost all of us, much tougher to deal with than that nonsense. My hope is that we ALL

Yeah. The family is looking for a payday is what the local news is reporting. The three girls have rapsheets and were no angels. Don't run from the cops in a STOLEN car. They would still be here.

Of course you can't blame the officers. If they hadn't ran they wouldn't have went into the pond. But at the same time like I said, a lot of people on here seem to be fine with the fact that 3 kids just drowned. Mistake or not, bad behavior or not that's wrong.

It's not about them running. It's their criminal records at such a young age. The world lost nothing with their deaths.

Perhaps I haven’t searched hard enough, but I don’t think anyone is saying they deserved to die because they ran from cops. They died because they made a mistake. You can’t blame the officers for not risking their lives to save theirs. Police have an obligation to do whatever they can within reasonable limits, but

“Deputies went to the home of Kristine Hayes, Miller’s grandmother, who had legal guardianship of the teen, on the morning of March 31. Upon hearing what had happened, Hayes was “extremely emotional and visibly shaken,” investigative documents say.

It's relevant when a family is trying to smear the police department and their deaths were in the commission of a crime.

I guess it’s only a matter of time before an actual one in a million case comes up...

Sucks they died but the gene pool is probably better off now.

The Division has nothing on Destiny, absolutely nothing. I platted The Division within 2 weeks of launch and sold it. Destiny took months to plat and I still play it now and then, usually to do the raid. Kings Fall raid is better than everything in The Division.

Umm...ok. But the story is false. It has been established pretty concretely that Jackie made the whole thing up, and ruined a lot of reputations in the process. She also made it a lot harder for true rape victims to be believed. I find it fascinating that people are turning their anger towards the real victims here -

So you’d be perfectly fine with your name being smeared, your career ruined, your potential career ruined, because someone lied to have a story written? You wouldn’t be the least bit upset? “You know, actually, it’s okay because maybe at one point something MAY have happened to you.”

You really should read up on the facts about this case. When Jackie first claimed/reported to Eramo that she was assaulted, Eramo did everything basically by the book in order to try and help her. It was Jackie who chose not to take any action. Jackie then later told (a different version) of her story to a reporter of

The odds of a false report of sexual assault are what, two percent or less

I want desperately to believe Jackie
