Technically speaking, that’s not a Rockwell parody. It’s based on the movie poster for the 1973 Oscar-winning movie “The Sting.”

Everyone’s entitled to their tastes. But if you think the material MAD did on GW Bush and Obama is soft and hacky, as is the material they’re doing now on Trump, I’ll just guess you may not have checked out the same issues I’ve seen.

The MAD piece was actually published during the Ferguson protests. It was reprinted on MAD’s blog and Facebook page this past week after Trump loosened the military gear restrictions of police.
