I used to see him at the Pavilions at Lake and California but I stopped going there after their produce quality went way down.

I'm in too; loved Kill List and Down Terrace

The rap-rock/nu-metal surge in the late 90s probably didn't help Industrial's later legacy either. A lot of that garbage was influenced by the beat heavy metal of the late industrial years.

I love the first three Revco albums and feel like they hold up well today. Industrial was much more interesting in 80s before it became metal with drum machines in the early 90s.

I'm not diggin this album as much as his other work. Blake's real strength is his chord progressions and there isn't much of that on display here. Retrograde is a great track and I like the bonus track on the album but it's not grabbing me in the way that his other stuff did.

If I was attempting this gimmick, every post would read "Please handle."

and River's Edge

Yeah, it really did hit every beat of a modern horror movie: the young family going through rough times, the little kid who's is in contact with the monster/ghost/alien whatever, crude crayon drawings of the creature, the eccentric "expert" who is brought in to explain the situation… the list goes on. It wasn't

HDTGM needs to do Vibrations (1997). It's got Christina Applegate and the boyfriend from Twin Peaks in it. It's like an old studio executive's idea of what the rave scene in the 90s was like. It's crazy. You can watch the entire thing on Youtube but it's also on Netflix Instant. Get on it!

Probably merkins

Plus the lovely anachronistic haircuts/makeup. I wonder where Hansel buys his hair products

They also have to draw crude crayon pictures of the monster. If that doesn't happen then it isn't a horror movie, apparently.

I agree. It's kind of funny that in an article about lazy hacks using tired cliches in their routines, there's a clip of Chris Hardwick talking about hipsters. Also, his suit is terrible.

Pa! Git the gun. They're tryin' to steal our souls.

The subtitled translation of what yells is something like "Granny Snuff, you ever been snuffed out?!"

@Citric They are concerned with Jonesy the cat initially because they don't want it to set off the motion tracker while they are searching for the Alien.

Yeah, I was dissapointed too. I fucking loved Kill List. It would definitely be in my top five for the year.
