Fair enough, I stand corrected. Still, it is a bit impressive that this means there are certain moments it ca go all the way up to 4K while maintaining 60fps. I know it’s not a fair comparison with the time difference, but God of War on ps4 pro for example, in performance mode (locked 1080p, nothing higher than that),…
That’s not an unreasonable take.
It remains game of the decade for me, nudging out Mass Effect 2.
The sticker tells you all you need to know.
Works for motorcycles too.
If you ever need to kill someone, gift them a bicycle and then run them down. Just claim you “didn’t see them” or they “darted out and you didn’t have time to react” and you’ll get a slap on the wrist.
I think it could tell she was a cyclist, rather than a human pedestrian, and knew what needed to be done.
No. There is literally the exact same amount of energy in both scenarios. Unless you change the mass or the delta-v between the two objects the amount of energy in question is exactly the same. That is literally basic high school physics. The first goddamn thing you learn about physics is conservation of energy.
The injuries you sustain in a car crash come from the crash and resulting massive acceleration over a fraction of a second
There’s a whole lot more energy to absorb in scenario 2 than there is in scenario 1.
We need an experiment on this. Conservation of momentum plays a part as well as the coefficient of restitution - it’s been awhile but I think that is the correct term.
The game of Lava, Mustang, Crowds is a lot like Rock, Paper, Scissors.
The thing is that while that statement is false for your friend’s Toyota Camry, it is actually true in certain cases as I imagine you are aware.
When the passengers are LEGALLY REQUIRED to follow her commands, yes, being drunk is a big fucking deal.
“Endangered everyone’s lives”
Being drunk/high is a fair thing to complain about, but sounds like Ms. Gorman is the type of person that wants to “speak to your manager” when you tell her there’s no sales going on.
You’re not wrong that the 991 steering is VERY good, but you’re so, so wrong that you can’t tell a difference. Drive a 996 or 997 then drive a 991 and tell me with a straight face that it actually doesn’t feel any different. Guarantee you won’t be able to.
As someone who had a great hydraulic rack with my 128i, then went to pretty good electric with my GTI, then back to hydraulic with a 996, I feel I can answer this by saying that GOOD hydraulic power steering just feels significantly better, pretty much always.
Nope. I’ve driven plenty of cars with EPS, HPS, and no ps. The feedback from the non assisted lotus Elise is one of the greatest feelings in the world. As cars got heavier PS became a necessity. I perfer hps even if it costs a mpg or two in the testing cycle.
Yup. This. Especially electric power steering that changes based on your car’s mode. lol
