The chrome bits are completely unforgivable. I’d be okay with the wacky styling if they didn’t exist, but somebody there said “let’s add chrome” and the whole car deserves to fail because they approved it.

I’d be willing to bet there are a lot of people who wouldn’t have read his books without these games though. So while he’s not directly profiting from the backend profits of the game (through no fault but his own) I’d say he’s indirectly profiting by all the game-obsessed people buying his books.

I just built a PC for the first time and it wasn’t nerve wracking at all. I think in the interest of encouraging people to try it themselves you shouldn’t advertise it as such, because frankly it just isn’t. With a little research, time, and patience literally anyone can do it.

I’m rarely seeing it drop below 100fps on my 1080 Ti on Ultra. It is VERY mildly overclocked. My 6700k is overclocked to 4.7 and maybe this game relies more on cpu than I would have thought? It is fairly stable at 100+, with some dips into the high 80s at lowest sometimes. I’m pretty happy with the performance.

But you just said “can’t wait for the scorpio to come out” which implies that you are waiting to spend money on that instead of just building a PC and having everything the scorpio does (and then some) right now. Hence why I said “you don’t have to wait”.

You don’t have to wait, you can just build a powerful gaming PC instead and it’ll be better than what you’re already waiting for.

It only takes a couple hours and is tons of fun to build! If you need any help reddit is a great resource (r/buildapc or r/pcmasterrace will always be happy to help). But if it’s just not for you, totally understandable. Sometimes it is nice to just have a box you can easily plug in and play without any tweaking.

I mean instead of buying both a Scorpio and a PS4 you could always build a sweet gaming PC that will blow them both out of the water and is easily upgradable in the future too. Just an idea though, if you really prefer consoles for some reason that’s your choice.
