why not spend the next year teaching your wife how to drive stick? it's an activity you can both enjoy together and you can feel good teaching her something useful!

I think golfs look significantly better with 4 doors anyway. the proportions just feel much more... right.

I didn't say anything about consequences and I don't really know what you're on about so have a nice day. Wasn't trying to start some sort of internet battle at all—sorry to have gotten your panties all up in a bunch by saying I can't install adblock at work...

I'm not allowed to install random programs on my work computer without going through a long and arguably more annoying than seeing some ads process. rest assured ad block is on my laptop at home.

So does anyone else still have "greatness awaits 11.15.13" ads on their kotaku pages?

I don't know about other places in CO but I know that in Boulder they don't even use salt to prevent ice on the roads.

Ah yes, those have no shortage of assholes, that much is for sure. Where I am everyone is kind of an asshole when they drive. It's just that the prius driver has jumped so far ahead in the asshole game that it makes everyone else look downright civil.

Once again, they sure as hell don't know where the turn signal is where I live. Everyone where I live is some degree of asshole, so you know. The Prii just seem to be leaps and bounds ahead of the rest.

hahaha BMWs are EVERYWHERE in Germany. Cheap ones, expensive ones, old ones, new ones... If you go to Munich it is literally full of BMWs. By that logic, everyone in Germany must be a pretentious fuck. Also, why is great mileage limited to only city driving (where many good 4-bangers can get at least in the mid-30's)?

That is... so weird...

I agree with you completely. I don't necessarily agree the Prius should die IF they can find a way to get a more polite, respectful driver demographic that doesn't think the road is now theirs because they are the saviors of planet Earth. But as long as it is driven by these dirty cunts, god knows I will hate the car

Well considering an M3 going the Prius's top speed around a track trounced it in fuel economy i'd say you are wrong about that—a Prius is not designed to go 100 mph and it's major MPG benefit is in the city when you use a lot of battery power instead of gas. And I'm not necessarily talking about you, but MANY Prius

A HUGE shitload of Prius drivers say many things about saving the environment.

You think BMW and Audi drivers drive cluelessly and block intersections and change lanes without looking?

Well if you want to save the environment, you oughta be willing to pay a little extra to ensure that you're doing it the right way.

Why not just get an i3, which was actually built with environmental/sustainable practices and saves you significantly more than a Prius will to drive around the city? Not to mention will be one hell of a lot more fun to drive.

you can think what you will, but come drive for a while in LA and you'll see what I mean.

The Prius defense team is very passionate. I'm sure they are bitter Prius owners that wish they could defend getting a car that isn't actually good for the environment but only serves the purpose of saving them less money at the pump than a diesel would.

I don't seem to experience many Insight drivers trying to drag race me at stop lights or zoom by at 100 (top speed and bad mpg) on the freeway or just cut me off only to slam on their brakes or block intersections or not pay attention when the light turns green or make a lane for themselves on the shoulder or get in

I say Los Angeles, because we never have a winter storm.
