You think BMW and Audi drivers drive cluelessly and block intersections and change lanes without looking?

Well if you want to save the environment, you oughta be willing to pay a little extra to ensure that you're doing it the right way.

Why not just get an i3, which was actually built with environmental/sustainable practices and saves you significantly more than a Prius will to drive around the city? Not to mention will be one hell of a lot more fun to drive.

The Prius defense team is very passionate. I'm sure they are bitter Prius owners that wish they could defend getting a car that isn't actually good for the environment but only serves the purpose of saving them less money at the pump than a diesel would.

I know what you're saying and you're right about it. But like I said I find it pretty stupid not to cross shop them, but then again a lot of people aren't that smart when it comes to cars obviously.

well if you wanna get into specifics you did say "test drive" which does not imply "buy"—and many people my test drive the cheaper option before going with the more expensive one.

I have driven premium cars. My sister has an Audi, my dad drives 2 Porsches (given one is a Cayenne) and my mom has a 2013 ML63 AMG—oh yeah, and I have a BMW.

No kidding—the dealer just tried to tell me my entire rack and pinion steering was broken and it would be 3k to fix AFTER keeping my car for 2 days...

The new mustang looks like it should have a much better build quality, first of all. Second, BMWs nowadays aren't the greatest (my window just fell permanently into my door 2 days ago).

As I'm quickly finding out with my BMW, I'm possibly going to go ahead and stay away from German cars for a little while (especially now that the Mustang is looking so good).
