I am in NO WAY defending what was said above, but if you want to listen to music you can plug the PS4 into the TV instead of your surround system and run an optical cable from the TV to your surround. Then you can get picture for PS4 on the TV, but can change your sound system's input to whatever you want to listen to…

The Xbox seems to be a little bit more vivid, but also more "choppy" than the PS4. I imagine you can change contrast/brightness to make PS4's colors look more like the Xbox, but the Xbox runs into problems with being able to correct that choppiness. Overall, however, looks great on both so nothing to be worried about…
