Yea, Grayson just put himself on my "always click" list of Kotaku staff writers.

Personally, I like how the A,B,X, and Y buttons aren't all the same size and aligned in a diamond. If you were to put a Z button on the left in addition to the right, I'd put the GameCube controller higher than my current favorite, the 360.
Man, old school games used to have so much imagination and wonder before everything had to be gritty and realistic. The only modern games I know of that capture this feeling are Rayman Legends and Kid Icarus: Uprising.
I wish Nintendo was just as passionate about their IPs as their fans. Sometimes, it feels like they don't even care when it comes to franchises like Metroid or Earthbound or StarFox etc. I know it must have something to do with money, it always does in situations like this.
I think we need more Mother in Smash in general. I was really hoping the new games would have more but instead we got less. Yet Pokemon got even more representation. I get its a really popular series, but I really wish they would let other series shine more.
Yup. I have fond memories of playing a lot of those Nov. 21 releases with family over Thanksgiving break.
from a developer on its last legs
The 3ds version is pretty excellent and in no way feels like its a scaled down experience. The only way I see the Wii U being the better version is in the controls department and if you really wanted to there are tutorials on nodding the 3ds to use a gamecube controller. Even if the Wii U version came out first I'd…
Oh, so now you're joking. I see.
To add on to what the others are saying, it's not unusual for Nintendo to release their big holiday game on or around November 21st. For example, Ocarina of Time released on November 21st, 1998 in Japan (the 23rd in US) and last year, Super Mario 3D World released on the 21st (22nd in US). Heck, Smash Bros. Melee was…
And Smash Bros. on a handheld is still Smash Bros.
it's a life philosophy. Watch your words
I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't "it", and what's "it" seems weird and scary to me!
And how are "real" sports not time wasters? I play sports to waste time. Are they not time wasting because you build up your body doing so? Well, video games actually helps with just as many things(although more mental health related rather than physical). Is it because you can make money playing sports for a living?…
You know what really irritated me the most about this? Burbank is a reporter on Television, which is ALSO something people waste their lives watching. I just pictured someone watching his report and going "My God, he's right!" and turning off their TV and going outside. Does he not realize many people also escape…
Oh right, I totally forgot I read about this guy awhile back:
Sigh. This is why I'm afraid to mention gaming as a past-time when meeting people. They view us less than human.
I know, right? All the corporations seem to have some sort of infinite money glitch working for 'em... real life has some *serious* balancing issues. We need a new patch right now...
Man Im going to miss that comic a lot. This is still my favourite video by him.
Who's downloading at midnight? I know I am. Sleep be damned.
