I'll still be going through Destiny with my friends, along with our share world on Minecraft for the PS4.
I JUST BOUGHT A WII U OFF EBAY LAST NIGHT COME ON NOW
Why not do both? You could buy the base game, thus rewarding the developers for what (according to reviews, at least) is a job well done... and you could also choose to not purchase the DLC. I think you can "vote with your wallet" not only in your spending, but also in your not-spending, if that's your thing.
This is exactly why I'm waiting for the Wii U version. I love my 3DS. It's great. But I cannot imagine playing a game like Smash Brothers on it for extensive periods and enjoying myself.
I'm hardly a hardcore Smash player, but I've played all the previous installments for many hours and unlocked all that each has had to offer. I've been playing the demo a bunch on my commute to and from work, and had none of the problems here. Maybe I'm just not as fast a player, but I've never had my 3DS XL creaking…
I've actually been pretty impressed with how the game handles on the 3DS based on my time with the demo. It feels good, if not quite as fast-paced as previous games.
I have no problems at all. The control is fine. It's not as responsive as the WiiU one and the pro (or gamecube) controllers are, of course not. The system isn't made like that. The game plays just fine.
If Nintendo's take on DLC was the standard practice, no one would ever complain about DLC. :P
Not even just that, it's worthwhile and well-priced. Nintendo shows us that DLC isn't the problem, companies are the problem.
Full-arsed?
The DLC hater.. that's usually me.
I hate map, quest, and item packs.. but man.. when Nintendo offers you an extra 4 cups.. (what is that, 50% more courses total?).. along with Link, and other cool characters.. Some extra karts for a tidy little sum.. I couldn't say no.
Give me a real battle mode modeled after N64 and we have the best Mario Kart in the series.
I really like what the Mario Kart 8 DLC is offering for what it costs. It seems like a reasonable investment that I'll gladly plunk down for.
Peach was easy to counter by simply hanging on a ledge. Suddenly all that fruit is mine.
The gameboy Advance SP was not a gimmick at all. The backlight was definitely a must.People could finally play games at night. No more looking for light sources to play.
Am i the only one that hates the idea of games looking like real life?
