I would guess Illinois and Colorado.

If I could still play sports games where all 4 quarters/9 innings/3 periods would take 15-20 minutes of real time, I would still play sports games. I don't have time for a 45 minute baseball game in a 162 game season. A 45-minute game of a 16-game Madden season would be fine if Madden wasn't the same damn game since…
Those "old school games" were actually challenging, engaging and/or difficult. Games today are dumbed down because people complain that they're too hard. Did you see that study where a high percentage of new wave gamers can't even beat the first level of the original mario bros.?
It's a long way since their love-hotel business tanked 100 years ago because couples needed friend codes to use them.
My sentiment exactly . Thank you for that, and thanks Nintendo for those countless hours in front of my TV, living the most memorable adventures of my life.
And now my list of 125 reasons I love Nintendo.
I fire up emulators to relive those days. I don't know what it was (or is) ......but I could play those old school games for hours, whereas if I try to do the same for a modern game of today, I'm ready to turn it off after one hour.
I can even begin to account all the times Nintendo has helped me keep my spirits up in the past three decades. As a tribute to this date, my "Famicom Memoria XXX" tribute album will be free for the next 24 hours. So share & enjoy!
Sure I'm down. I can bring my Gamecube, some Natty Ice, and a few Jack Johnson cds
The original Smash Bros. was actually a bar fight in 1889.
This seems like an apt time for this
Thank you, for brightening my childhood, Nintendo.
For some children, childhoods were lonely, painful, a little rough and remote. You made them brighter and merrier. The time after school, those Sunday afternoons playing contra will never return, and never be forgotten. Thank you for making me a nerd. Video games are a…
Always love it when people say that and don't realize that Nintendo has been around for a fair while, gathering all kinds of experience, money and assets.
125 years old and (apparently) perpetually doomed. Thanks for being awesome Nintendo.
Nintendo, best known as the creator of the dog from Duck Hunt, turns 125 today, and if that doesn't seem very old,…
I'm over three times younger than him, yet I'm old enough to remember the days when puzzle games and brain-teasers were perceived by many self-proclaimed hardcores as la crème de la crème of the gaming experience.
True... However, what would make me more suspicious is if politicians said there was absolutely NO improper expenses going on in any given government.
wouldn't that actually make you more suspicious about those improper expenses or are they really scared of the news media?
I tend to find first person shooters like the junk food of gaming, very wasteful and very casual.
