FUCK HER AND TREVOR NOAH FOR ALLOWING HER ON THE SHOW.

And fuck you TMZ.

Hot take: my beloved Sansa Stark is too good for that Jonas person.

Baldwin’s reaction is like that republican lady who got all mad at Ana Navarro for saying pussy on the news when she was quoting Donald Trump - same misdirection, same reduction of the word to the single, most recent instance of it’s use while blatantly ignoring the referenced, and far more significant, use.

oh just fucking fuck everything.

I laughed out loud at how utterly stereotypical a top comment this is. Like, EXACTLY what every single reader was expecting when they scrolled down. It’s so perfectly expected, I’m not sure it isn’t sarcastic.

If you’ve lived with privilege your whole life, equality seems like suppression ...

If saying “I don’t like this, please change it” is censorship, then what do I make of your post, which says you don’t like feminists so they should change their actions?

A lot of comments on here about how “Hornbeck shouldn’t have been surprised,” and others that “just don’t feel the outrage.” I don’t think she was “surprised” and I don’t think her expectation was “outrage.” Speaking out against & drawing attention to these sorts of things where women are depicted in a less than

I scrolled down the article, and the only thing I could think was, “Please have a mature comment section, please have a mature comment section, please have a mature comment section..” Then I came across your contribution, sighed, and figured I should have known better.

If noticing and pointing out one of the fundamental themes your game is built on is enough to “ruin” it, then it wasn’t a very good game to start with.

This is very sad, elbarto. People who hate being viewed as sex objects still deserve to play board games with their friends. Please try to see things from other people’s perspective, you will find the world is a lot different from how you thought it was.

“Local male, un-effected by sexism whatsoever, asks women to stop complaining about sexism.”

Criticism isn’t censorship. That’s a pretty basic distinction, man.

That SU&SD review also makes a good point about how the makers of the boardgame claim authenticity as their reason to keep the sexism from the original source in the game, yet they got rid of the racist aspects of the Conan mythos.

Maybe if Conan was posed more like this, that “he wares as little as the ladies” argument might hold up...

I mean I get Conan isn’t the greatest (Barbarian and everything lol) and as woman I can be turned off about a game like this when the few women characters, if any, are kind of accessorizing the game with no relevant purpose. I prefer D&D games where I can create a character that is truly mine.

well at the very least, he didn’t use the wrong email instead of the right email, so.

If it pales in comparison to the problems actual minorities face then you should have an easy time ignoring this pretty relaxed jab at the patriarchy which isn’t about you specifically. Happy Turkey Day.

You, you are a treasure. Have a wonderful International Men’s Day!
