Yes- there is so much that could be done to help women when it comes to child care. For example, day cares that work around shift work, or that will look after kids if a parent has to stay at work late, or will help with sick kids, or that will take babies so women can get back to work... not easy at all but day care…

The poll cites the double standard as women having to do more to prove themselves. But yes, I think you have a point. Although I know a lot of women that take the lead in child care because they want to, not because it is expected of them.

From my own experience with my social group, I think it is lack of available and affordable child care that is holding women's careers back, much more so than double standards.

I think it will give her ideas a wider audience, which is really important. If she were to win, it might not result in the fundamental changes everyone would want to see, but I would argue that she deserves recognition on an historical scale, and the presidency is a good way to do it.
