I think they need better engines as well. I’m looking hard at a 335i with stick, Caddy has nothing comparable. Their 2.0 turbo isn’t all that great, and the 3.6L is auto only. Plus, resale value is pretty crappy for any Cadillac.

I say it every time a new Cadillac gets reviewed. They HAVE to compete on price against the Germans. I know they don’t want to, but they have to.

It seems that used Cadillacs and Lincolns are great value for money, why would you by a new Chevy or Ford over any of these?

Basically all BMW turbo engines’ numbers are BS. I’ve seen “crank” HP quotes be exceeded at the wheels (S55). All germans manufacturers do it (likely for CO2 and mpg certification) but BMW are definitely the most egregious. I’m not complaining at all.

In fairness, the numbers that BMW gave on the N54/N55 were extra complete doubleplus horseshit (in a good way)
