I used to live around the corner from the Frank Lloyd Wright house on Frankilin in LA, and when a period movie ( I think it was The Aviator) was shooting there, they were super rude and shitty to residents. They sent a super aggressive note commanding all the resident of the apartments across the stress to keep their

Your film shoot horror story is that you were a jerk to a group of PAs who were just doing their jobs?

That bit about her taking her wedding dress with her when she traveled so that she could get married at a moment’s notice gave me a serious case of fremdschamen. That’s just so pathetic.

Youngest child here. Parents tend not to care about such details with us. From the Queen bailing on his christening to clothing, they’ll never care as much as they do about the older children. (By the time I got married, all my parents did was bitch about everything. They’ve met my kid three times.)

I’m over the whole ‘schlub with an attactive woman’ sitcom trope, though.

I cannot believe there have been this many stories published about what boils down to two people arguing over gummy vitamins.

This is the best comment

I see Jamil’s replies are filled almost exclusively with the usual WASP Evangelical GOP Pro-Restriction crowd with the usual hand-wringing claims that “The Child” could’ve gone to the home of a sweet adoptive couple like those who can’t have children.

Washington State’s foster care system is so overwhelmed that they’ve started just checking teenagers into motel rooms because there aren’t enough families to place them with, and we have fairly liberal abortion laws. I can’t imagine what’s going to happen to Georgia’s system if this law is allowed to go into effect.

The narcissists prayer:

I’m always amazed when I hear about adults suing their parents. Like that woman in Europe who sued her parents because they posted photos of her as a young child on social media and refused to take them down when she asked.

So the tale of the “true blue” hard Brexiteers, your Rees-Moggs/Francois’/Farages etc, who simply want the UK to make all its own decisions and be independent again has come to them begging the French government to veto an extension to Article 50...

Yeah, but maybe kids at Seaview were like “look at Miley, she THINK she look like Hannah Montana, but she don’t. She even talks like her, too. Loser!”

I know a person who only adopts super old, or really sick dogs, to give them the best last few months/ years possible. Dunno how they do it, but damn if that's not the kindest thing ever.

Diana had a few pieces, but they were on loan from the Queen, and reverted back to her at the end of the loan. She also had jewelry of her own that she kept in the divorce, and was given to her sons after her death. Kate has been seen wearing a few jewelry pieces Diana wore (like the Lover’s Knot Tiara), but they were

I knowI know this is morbid but mymom has a hospice social worker and all I want to do is buy an old Victorian Mansion in Maine and fill it with terminally ill dogs that I can just give lots of steak to and to keep very very comfortable. I don’t particularly want terminally-ill dogs, but I just feel like since they

My mom was pregnant again less than a month after I got out of hospital. Maybe they just doubled up? lol

I was like “how?” and then I saw the word “Queensland.”

My best friend (we’ll call her Washing) was expecting her first and her best friend decided to throw her a shower. It was weird, there were only a handful of people there (Washing’s family are on the other side of the world) and the party-organiser got wasted.

My people don’t really do baby showers. Not a whole lot of money for it. If someone’s going to have a baby, friends and family will meet up for tea/coffee and to hand off trash bags full of clothing their kid has grown out of, and other hand-me-down baby stuff, etc. My SIL owns an ever loaned-out collection of knit
