With my car entering it’s third week of sitting at the dealer waiting on parts, I support this 100%. My local guy would have fixed it with aftermarket parts that were better and had it done in 2 days. 

I love a V8 Jeep, but hate the price. Why not drop a smaller, 350hp V8 into a stripped out Wrangler while retaining the drive train of this one? That would make it a $60K Jeep with absolutely bulletproof mechanicals. It would be a legend in the off road world.

With the popularity of Singer and “tribute” cars like fake Mustang GT350s, I have to wonder if there is a market for NOS Hammers? Buy up all the late 80's 300 chassis and V8 motors you can find and put them together. They would lack provenance, but a good garage could get them out the door for less than $50K cost and…

As a life-long fan of cars and racing, let me be the first to say that Indy Car is of no interest to me. Going in a circle in ugly cars, albeit quickly, is boring. At least F1 adds fake drama in the form of sudden rule changes and unfair penalties. 

I have to wonder how bad a sonic boom really is? I mean, were people’s windows exploding and their ear drums bleeding? Or was it a gentle rumble that pissed people off because they couldn’t afford the $10K ticket so they decided to ruin it for everybody? 

It is undoubtedly unique, Toyota quality and a V8 and 3-row in a mid-size SUV.  $16K is a lot for something approaching 200,000 miles, especially considering that it was unique for the US market and parts and know-how may be limited compared to other models. ND.
