Occasionally people break into acting later in life. Though he's not a huge star, Fred Melamed (aka "that's that guy who was amazing in that thing") is a good example. And there are people who move on from shitty rom-coms to critical success, like Matthew McConaughey.

The ironic thing is, Harvard is a really fucking good deal for most people, because they have need-blind admission and excellent financial aid. Agree about Loaded, but my problem with it was always that its best songs are done better elsewhere. I used to love the 1969 live album's version of "Sweet Jane" particularly.

Is that the double-tracked vocal version?

My favorite is the live version of Sweet Jane off the 1969/Live with Lou Reed album. It's the slow version that Cowboy Junkies famously covered, complete with the "heavenly wine and roses" bit—that NYC junkie soul.
