Well then you don’t have to be concerned about not having tons of friends then. Good for you. :) Not saying don’t have some friends, however, as it’s good to throw a wide net just when you need a little ‘alone’ time away from the family. ;)

Most people stick with family-in the end. If you don’t have family “to stick with” then friendships are very important.

I do get where you are coming from, which is why I ‘starred you’. And not to sound like I am “butting” this up but I guess I am....(But) there is something to be said of a woman who doesn’t question things and is passive (and no not just women do this but we are talking about women partners in this context so...).

If I had the money Calvin does I would have done the same. I have no doubt he can call a Hollywood surgeon in 2 seconds and he will do 1000x better job with that laceration than any emergency room doctor. ER doctors do the best they can with what they come across...the best they can.

Not if she went to hospice. The whole point is to make you comfortable.

Hospice has people who are in pain and dying but it’s not just for people who are dying. All I am saying is that there are options so you don’t become a ‘criminal’ in the law’s eyes, or have to make this excruciatingly painful decision about your loved one either. If they don’t want to go to hospice that’s another…

I have an idea...stop taking the medications and let her die on her own, or take her to hospice if it’s that bad. That way no one thinks you are just trying to be rid of a ‘burden’.
