The Porsche Carrera GT. Yes, I’m fully aware that it’s an engineering masterpiece and it is beloved by people who want their car to beat them up rather than the other way round. I also concede it makes one of the most bewitching sounds I’ve ever heard. But I just can’t bring myself to like it. Its shape is as sinuous…
This thing is hideous and I don’t want to see it on the road. But if it means they’ll be less F150s then I’m all for it. I swear like 1 in 5 vehicles is an f150
CP. $19K? Holy shit

Yes, this directly competes to your Miata in every possible aspect. Hell, it may kill off the Miata. Enjoy it while you can. You should be terrified by the performance and appeal of the Hyundai Elantra GT.
I’m surprised only the Legacy and some trim levels of the Fusion are the only midsize sedans that offer AWD. I think offering AWD on sedans would help stem the tide of CUV sales, but it’s a bit odd they wouldn’t offer AWD on the Maxima since it’s the premium sedan.
Hey, fellow Canuck here (from Markham, just north of Toronto, Ontario)!
I agree entirely. the lack of ‘excitement’ is rampant, (being that I work at a Nissan dealer) only ‘fun car’ I see is the Juke Nismo RS you mentioned and that’s it. Believe it or not, the screens in the waiting room proudly say “We build every Nissan to excite.”, which I know is truly a lie.
My uncle was looking for a hot hatch, or a decently zippy small crossover, and while brainstorming I mentioned the Nissan Juke Nismo RS, which was available with a stick shift on the FWD version and 215hp...except they killed that model in Canada a year or two ago and now the only engine on offer is the 188hp variant.
God damn, Nissan, replace the 370Z already. The basic chassis and engine architecture literally predate camera phones (yes, really, the 350Z predates the first camera phone).
Things don’t look good for FCA in particular. The company recently killed off two mid-sized sedans—the Chrysler 200 and the Dodge Dart—and seem to be focusing on selling large trucks and SUVs.
Seriously, Jalops, this is it. The moment of truth. We need to buy this car.
I’m not sure it was needless here.
We also have the freedom to kneel if we want to when we hear the anthem. Or turn our backs. Or dance a jig. Those people died for her freedom to do that too.
‘Twas horseshit. I’ve been around stock car racing all of my 31 years and that is the single most shameful race ending I have ever witnessed. Nemechek should be parked for embarrassing everyone associated with the race and taking away a good ending from everyone who watched it.
The non-turbo Z32 has 222 HP and 198 lb-ft of torque. It weighs 3,300 pounds and costs $30,825. The Corvette has 375 HP and 370 lb-ft of torque. It weighs 3,200 pounds and costs $33,600. Besides the small difference in price, why would you choose the Nissan?
