I thought the fact that she went off the deep end after winning made it even more insane. There was no reasonable justification. She just wanted to burn them. 

It really seemed like they treated Jaime and Cersei’s whole arc as a tragic romance. They just want their baby to live!

What’s ironic is that Cersei never wanted Ned dead. Joffrey did that on his own against Cersei’s plan. Cersei is awful, but Arya doesn’t have a deep reason to hate her personally.

The whole discussion he and Brienne had last episode about the spot she had staked out implied some kind of battle knowledge, but it was all bullshit this episode. 

Why was anyone outside the wall at all? They really needed to protect their own forces, not just as a usual army would, but because every fallen soldier was a potential recruit for the enemy.

I thought that was kind of bullshit. Thor is the god of thunder, not hammers. The hammer doesn’t give him the lightening, his own power does. The hammer just focuses it.
