I wonder if this is related to the fact that people don’t/can’t change their opinions when new info is presented in political matters. Many people are so tied to their opinions about what is “true” they simply can’t adjust.

I’m sure Matt Damon was great in this - he fits the part certainly. But I do feel it’s ironic based on his comments on race, his comments on #MeToo, his friend Casey Affleck’s behavior. This feels like an opportunity for Matt Damon to regain his bonafides.
