Have you read about how she decided to join the show? She asked to be a producer and apparently everyone thought she was crazy to ask, but she got it. It allows her to have some input/control over how her character and women in the show are portrayed. She’s all around inspiring.

Yeah, I resent it too. She reminds me of my mom honestly - somehow she always made herself the victim. It’s a talent.

I only ever watched it on Hulu. With that experience I had always just assumed it was an NBC show as it fit in so well with their sitcoms.

I REALLY, surprisingly liked this show. Jennifer Beals was great as the leader.
