Good morning, worm your honor,
The crown will plainly show the prisoner who now stands before you,
Was caught red-handed grubbing money,
Grubbing money of an almost endless nature.
CBS, get on this:

You should add players exercising no trade clauses to your list of possible scenarios. There are all sorts of similar things that affect teams' abilities to sign free agents. Reductions in stats (which could impact the size of a future contract). Quality of life. Media exposure. Likelihood of a playoff run. etc.
Part of the reason the A's aren't very good is that they play in an awful stadium. I'm not a fan (Go Tigers!) and haven't been there, but I've heard that they have a very hard time signing quality position players because of the difficulty in producing there…
I was going to say self-immolate, but it was a little too close to your answer…
He's Italian, he was nowhere near the Philippines. You got nothin'.
I don't know if I "get excited" about Zippy, but I'm definitely not from NYC. I guess I relate to Zippy more than I like the strip. It's probably early-onset dementia.
I'm disappointed you didn't mention Dondi. What a loveable little scamp.
Hey, glad to see Zippy made it.
Exactly. Where do you think Michael Jackson found Bubbles?
Now Kate Winslet is going to have to stage an accident so that Richard Branson's mother can save her life in return…
I read the first Thomas Covenant series when I was a kid, and I guess I wasn't ready for it or something. I've often wondered how I would feel about it if I went back and read it as an adult…
Also a big Amber fan, although I will always cherish the first five (which I read when I was a teen) over the later installments.
@Abbies Dad
What about GI Joe? I would think they (both the classic (lifelike hair!) and newer varieties) would qualify as Lawful Good, and most of the Cobra guys would be Lawful Evil.
Unforgettable might have been creepy if it wasn't her father…
But really? I thought it was sweet.
I"m sure you're right about the ratings. I assume the money savings refers to annual budgets or something along those lines. They may not be able to afford producing full seasons of both Mad Men and Breaking Bad in the same year anymore? I'm just guessing.
If you read that last paragraph backwards, it says "Dead is O'Neal Sean, really", over and over.
