Tivo
Another modern "inconvenience" is getting pissed off when the end of a program gets cut off on the Tivo because the schedule is just a little bit off. It's pretty silly getting pissed off at the greatest thing since sliced bread, but it didn't happen with the VCR because I never would've tried to just record the

I figured that everybody would buy a Management ring for their boss, then between reviews you can see where you rank in his/her favor by which finger they are wearing your ring on - or whether they're wearing it at all.

I seem to recall Sookie saying that the creature that attacked her had the head of a bull and the body of a man. I'm wondering if Eggs might not be the creature, which would support the whole knock-Tara-up theory.

Never-nude
Ahh, now I can look like a never-nude in baggy jeans!

Favorite bit from "Tribbles"
I'm surprised I haven't seen any mention of it to this point - one of my favorite bits in the whole series is watching everyone try to maintain their composure as (apparently) a stagehand up in the storage bin is throwing tribbles at Shatner's head, in a lame attempt to simulate stragglers

You're albumen me out.

They could get sponsor $$ from Wendy's and hand out Baconators! Synergy!

Fatchelor
I think he should give ice cream cones to the women who are staying on.

The NCAA basketball tournament gives automatic nods to the champions from each conference. Maybe the Academy will go a similar route and have automatic nominations for meeting certain criteria: highest box office $, costliest, longest running time, etc. I'm sure Transformers 2 can sneak in there somehow.

^always assumed^ sigh

Green Acres
I also assumed that Dave's love for Green Acres was due to the fact that he was a country boy from Wisconsin…

Apropos of nothing, my wife and I once walked past a karaoke bar on Bourbon Street and there were two young women singing (!?) the chorus of "Who Let the Dogs Out?". I didn't realize there was a melody and I haven't heard it since. It was a surreal 20 seconds until we were able to get out of range.

I think he meant that Dolly also covered it (on The Grass is Blue). It's a good cover. I love the edit in the lyrics - "That'll be cash on the barrelhead, hon'".

He's not funny if you are laughing with him. At him is another matter entirely.

Anything for a buck!

I think
I should be able to just put my credit card # into Windows and Microsoft should just download and/or order everything for me that I need. I don't like trying to figure that stuff out for myself.

I heard that overdub, but I remember it as "Take the fuzzy elephant!" For me, a close second to "Flip you, melon farmer!" from the dubbed version of Repo Man.

Edna Kravitz!

My Heart Would Know

Favorite Hank covers?
I love Jerry Lee Lewis' version of "You Win Again".
