Michael Johns' wardrobe
I thought Michael Johns was pretty good when he was on the show, but as soon as he showed up last night I told my wife that I felt like punching him in the face. She (rightly) pointed out that it was because he was wearing a jacket that was about two sizes too small.

What's with Simon?
There was a moment at the end of the show when they showed the judges and Simon seemed to be glaring at the stage - really glaring. I was wondering if he might have been pissed off about the way they prolonged Tatiana's misery during the reveal (it seemed to me the most obvious reason).

Youthful Ward?
I tivoed the episode and only watched it yesterday, so of course nobody will see this post…

I was wondering if Simon's vote counts as two, and the contestant needs to get three out of five… It fits with the cases that I remember. There was one where Simon said no and the other three judges had to say yes, and another where Randy and Kara said no, but Simon and Paula saying yes was enough.

Dr. Syesha and Mr. Hyde?
Was anybody else struck by how awful Syesha's encore was last night, particularly in light of how well she sang it on Tuesday?
