@derilium: Live Mesh does not have revision history, but the direct synching does not have a limit on size, so your 19.9 GB should sync just fine.

Seriously: you should worry about the waste of "phantom energy" consumers ONLY AFTER you've taken care of the bigger stuff: replace old fridge, program thermostat, install double-paned windows and insulation, install CFL or LED lighting, and get in the habit of turning off computers (or letting them go to sleep).
Yup, good tip. Except that I don't remember ever experiencing an Explorer crash in Windows 7.

@Jimmy From The Block: This whole article was a bit of a stretch. Seriously, Lifehacker. Is an SSD manufacturer feeding you?
@pembunah: The first half of the article was just as useless. "You should buy a new Toyota Prius! Yeah, they're expensive, but it's really not that expensive because the car runs so clean that you can sell your vacuum cleaner, indoor air filter, and clothes washing machine! And if you buy a new house every 2 years,…
For composing my own thoughts (such as writing a paper or a journal entry), I find typing is more effective because it's faster than handwriting. My typing can keep up with my thoughts a little better.
@coolslice: Oooooh. I wanna go see it in person.
@Dacker: I see lots of color in these wallpapers. But subdued hues are good if you put icons or gadgets on the desktop.
@Enginerd: It looks like you are receiving a report generated from a database. Would you like help?
@Mugen4312: Ask Lifehacker. I seem to remember a post here about how to filter Google results.
@Whitson Gordon: You're shocked, and rightly so. That's because Microsoft didn't actually make this product, and they definitely did not pull it out of nowhere. They bought GIANT Company Software, whose GIANT AntiSpyware scanner became Microsoft Windows Defender. At some point as a Defender user, I remember being…
@Posco Grubb: It's totally ironic that those of us who refrained from using Facebook Connect due to privacy issues are the ones who got hammered by the break-in.
@TrueKnight: I don't like it either, but the storage of your passwords is based on strong encryption. You commit to memory a single master pass phrase (not as vulnerable to dictionary attacks) that is used to encrypt your password database.
Shit.
@Methusalah: I agree.
@Joshua.H: Exactly. E.g. Sleep (I mean actually sleeping) isn't exactly fun, but it certainly adds value to the things I do when I'm not asleep.
Ah memories... not least because one of my good friends who now works at Panic was the one who introduced me to Amiga, hacking demos in assembly, SoundTracker, and Lemmings.
