I'm sorry but there are other international competitions with that ideal. The Olympics is about more than medals. It's about sportsmanship too.

I'd rather an athlete place 7th than be a racist jerk on Twitter any day. Looking at you, Skinner.
The point is, it's not about the medals podium. It's about the diversity of the competition and giving everyone an opportunity to represent their country and sport.
Well feel free to ckeck in with the US Nationals then I guess.
That's...not quite what the Olympics are about.
Happy birthday! This is my favorite kind of potluck because I love making elaborate cakes. Potlucks are fun. Ignore the whiners.
Potlucks are fun because I love baking but don’t have the set up at my place to entertain. Our friends have a great house with a deck and a yard and a fire pit and everyone gathers there on the regular. We hang out all night so eating is going to need to happen.
You are not alone. I am mesmerized by this show.
You have to hold your skin really taunt and rip parallel to your skin, not up away from it.
I use oil before wipes to loosen up my make up so there’s less tugging my skin, then a very mild cleanser and a barrage of serums and moisturizers. My skin is also sensitive and I had a hell of a time with adult acne for a while but surprisingly the oil has helped. In winter sometimes I oil cleanse.
The hell? This is a thing?
My dad loves Beyoncé so by this logic I’m probably a huge disappointment to him.
I believe they do use replay now, but I could be wrong. As for the annotation, I completely agree. It's difficult for casual fans to follow. The live NBC coverage you can stream, with Jon Horton and Courtney Kupets commentating, does a way better job with this than prime time coverage. We see hops, falls, balance…
They deduct Simone Biles because she crosses her toes in the air.
I think her feet came apart after she hit the springboard.
They don't have to. They're having fun. Mustafina doesn't smile and she does just fine.
They still probably would have won if that happened.
I know they wipe scores from quals. My point is, this was not shocking. If they lost maybe it would have been shocking. This was a foregone conclusion. They won the medal by like 8 points. Russia beat China by less than seven tenths. There's no spoilers here.
They were like 10 points ahead going into the final in a sport where medals are usually separated by tents of points. They could have fallen off of everything and still won. Nothing about this result is a surprise.
That's your takeaway?
