Most furries aren’t even interested in wearing any kind of fursuits, they are yet another minority in a huge and varied fandom. And of the people who do wear them, only a small percentage are interested in them sexually — even the sexual fetish furries usually have no interest in suits.

Sorry, but you’re thoroughly mistaken, unless you mean a furry fetish site, which is very much a different matter from a furry art site.

The kids don’t know that. All they see are colorful cartoon characters. Bondage gear is a lot less fluffy, and a lot more exposing. No one is actually naked here, or doing anything sexual. And they likely keep their costumes clean, considering they must be very expensive.

There’s people who walked around in clothes purchased at malls that have had sex with them. I’m shocked and appalled that people would walk around in public fully clothed with clearly sullied clothing. The nerve!

This explains pretty much everything you need to know about furries, long story short is a sub genre of sci-fi

Went into the grey comments. Apperantly the furry hate train came here from Gizmodo. Why does everyone gotta hate on the furries? It was old in the early aughts, it’s just beating a fossilized horse at this point. We get it, people can’t be bothered to actually educate themselves because this is the internet and

A while back, on the “furry deviantart”, they calculated that 80% of the submissions were clean art. It’s just that the sexual kind have... kind of a loud mouth.

The sexual fetish furries are the minority, the ones who are simply fans of anthropomorphic cartoon characters the majority. I don’t see why the former would be any creepier than any other run off the mill sexual fetish, but I’m extremely confused why you’d imagine that they’d be the majority of the furry fandom.

The majority of furries don’t wear suits and, of those, the majority of THOSE fursuiters don’t have sex in their suits because of the difficulty of laundering/washing them involves a lot of effort and brushing, special methods to get the dirt out, etc.

I’m not sure I understand the primary motivation behind your comment.

I know a great many folks give furries shit because their particular fetish (I understand that it isn’t sexual for some, but I’m under the impression those folks are in the minority) is so visible, whereas the folks doing the judging have their own

Poll time: What pecentage of the comments will be derogatory toward furries compared to the amount of comments derogatory to refugees?

I was gonna say something about not falling into stereotypes about furries, but I might as well have a conversation with a wall.
