Its an on-again off-again thing. For a while they said "no more track days" then they said would allow some. COTA is hurting for money big time, so they started allowing them again. Its crazy expensive, something like $60,000 a day so even most clubs cannot do it.
Yes, there three groups doing fairly affordable HPDE's at COTA, so you can go almost monthly if you want to. I've only mustered the cash and courage for one so far, but will be back soon! Video of one of my laps: http://texas-geek.kinja.com/e90m3-lap-arou…
Yea I ran with BMWCCA for about 350 bucks a day. Was worth the money. I believe this was probably the Chin Motorsports track day. PCA and Driver's Edge will also be doing track days there.

I not a huge, huge Audi fan (the name is deceptive), but the answer to this has got to be this 2010 Audi R8 V10 6-speed. Carbon fiber package, B&O sound, a manual gearbox, and a wailing monster of a V10 in the middle. A bit high miles for my taste at 26,963, but the buy it now is $98,990.
The answer in this case is always "Porsche 911".
