How should you monetize it?

3 tons to 60 in 4 seconds, just what this world needs.
Except this time they were coy and mentioned dry weight. David updated the article.
You mean GT4?
Not naturally aspirated.
You can still order a $35k model 3 today (special order), and the website one is $39k, not $50k. Most of the 3s available for delivery are closer to $40k than $50k. Do you enjoy making shit up?
Maybe worth contrasting with other high performance sports cars’ dry weight?
Sacramento? We’re getting a ton of younger bay area transplants. Weather is not as nice as the bay area, but still way better than most of the country.
Except it’s more likely to be NIMBY residents blocking higher density housing, not environmental regulations. We don’t want unbridled sprawl like Houston because (1) our roads are busy enough, (2) many of our metro areas are geographically bound and can’t physically expand, and (3) we don’t have the water for 1/2…
for the price of like, two Porsches.
It’s a pushrod, not a DOHC. Output/displacement is not a useful metric. This engine is much smaller than a 6.2L DOHC would be.
Yes, but this has a 500hp V8 vs your small family of hamsters in the front bonnet.
The luggage space is a legitimate concern. I’ve seen many choose a 911 over a Cayman/Boxster because of it—though I can fit two roller suitcases in my Boxster frunk so it’s enough for a short trip
Yeah, most non-luxury dealers suck, but I'd hold my nose and deal with it if I wanted a C8.
They lowered the price of the 3 in most configurations, including the cheapest one available on the website. If you aren’t wealthy, you are probably looking at the 3 and not the S/X.
I don’t know of too many sports car enthusiasts that are going to be swayed by IKEA furniture and a cappuccino machine over the differences between the cars themselves. I drive a Porsche now but if the C8 came in a stick I’d be open to it for my next sports car.
We have time of day usage in my part of California, if I could use the $0.08 overnight rate to use my a/c during the $0.28 rate, I would buy an EV today.
“So yes, this XJ was a great deal”
Nothing wrong with buying a new car simply because the wife likes new and you stay happy.
I’d love to send you a copy of this ageist post when you turn 50.
