No just TWO toilets in the Audi LM Hotel, I can asure you. There are some at the Front Desk and many, many more in the back where sinks and showers are located. After all, that remarkable all-carpeted facility accommodates some 1,200 visitors, when full Saturday night.

Since the Audi Hotel is open for just two nights, Friday and Saturday (with most occupants arriving on Audi chartered planes from Munich Saturday morning and depart shortly after the race around 6PM), it’s quite OK the first night, if one arrives early. Even though totally occupied Saturday, it’s still OK, since

The VW Van had the current hottest RS3 engine installed in it by MTM, Motor Technik Mayer, a tuning shop just outside of Ingolstadt. MTM serves primarily to Audi customers who want more of everything. MTM engines, for example, powered the Gumpert Apollo as well as number of high speed entries over the years at the

Almost LOST in this year’s Le Mans . . .

Actually, with good lights as Porsche and Audi as well as the Toyota and Nissan have, it’s not really that difficult for, in dark areas especially, one is not distracted by the surrounding scene as much as in the overly lit ones. Clearly, GOOD, well aimed LIGHTS is the key.

Albeit it failed __TWICE __ on the 3rd placed PORSCHE that went nose first into the barrier.

No winged demons but this litte incredible V4 cylinder engine PORSCHE surely is not very interested for anyone to see.

Those BTW are calle PORSCHE curves.

It most certainly be even more interesting what Porsche will do next year when both Audi and Toyota come back with their BRAND NEW to the 2016-regulation-and-beyond built, updated cars.

I’ll be SO SURPRISED if they ever will . . . ;-)

MOST INTERESTINGLY, the 00 to 6AM Sunday shift commentating the Le Mans race for ACO, the organizers, on their web feed 24 Heures du Mans , was done by Peter and another chap. Had some great insides, quite obviously. Was to nice to meet his voice, at least. It turn out, a dear friend deeply involved with Aston Martin

It’ll be interesting to find what really happend. Albeit focusing on something mechanical given Paul’s experience, as strange as it may sound, a driver’s error (“a brain fade” as it’s known in motorsport jargon) can not be ruled out at this point either, most unfortunately, until the real facts are known. :- (

Ha, EXACTLY - has a windshield, check. Has wiper, check...

Also, noticed there are no doors. Since they are never easy to create, especially when using Atom’s chassis as your main structure, are you going to re-engineer it to have doors on your car eventually yet retain the strengt of that otherwise very clever structure?

Certainly beautiful looking car!

When you finally buy one, surely you’ll have enough to also buy a nice MOMO steering wheel of your choice, correct?

Contact Dennis Palatov (www.palatov.com) in Portland, Oregon. Dennis is a pretty brilliant man. Surely, if you have the money, he’ll build you a driver of your dreams. A nice guy too!

CORRECT, in Cali you HAVE TO HAVE both, a windshield and a wiper.

Not only steering but, even more strangely, brakes as well, apparently... For Paul goes from Ford curves STRAIGHT into the wall, WITHOUT braking, it appears?!?

I understand. Had similar issue with Road&Track when switching to electronic subscription. Paid my regular sub for the whole year but could not get the electronic one to accept my info. Since I really, really wanted to read just the Singer 911 article in the latest issue, I finally gave up and bought just that issude
