I wish it was at the Porsche Driving School in Alabama. No, this was at the Porsche traveling driving event that came to MSR Houston. We only got to use about half the track, plus a number of the guests had never been to a DE. Still, we drove a little quicker than I expected. The Panamera GTS was incredible, BTW.

While we're piling onto Porsche (and they deserve it), guess how much this hard plastic frunk liner is. It's about 10" deep and allows you to carry dirty stuff up front. $166! It does come with a nice little Porsche decal though, so this separates it from a $40 one that would fit in the trunk of a Honda...

I think that this is the best we could hope for. I prefer Varsha to Diffey, but it might be because I'm more familiar with him.

Yep, they should just get it over with and make the speed limit 80 on the Hardy & Sam Houston toll roads since that's the average speed anyway.

I agree 1000%. Far fewer idiots on the beltway, and it seems that most seem to understand what the purpose of the left hand lane is.

Holy shit! What are the odds of that happening?

Mario would certainly be in my top 10, and for just the reason that you cited.

Two crazy women driver stories today and neither are from Florida. Is this the seventh sign?

The WBC is one of those rare things in the world that brings conservatives and liberals together for a common cause. That common cause is the disgust of these so called 'people of God.'

That's probably not far from true at the dealer. About $75 or so to do it yourself, depending on if you can find oil on sale.

Obviously, we're both brilliant...

I get that. For some reason, I hated him more when he drove for Renault than I do now.

Somewhere in the distance there's someone with a radar gun waiting to take advantage of the mistake...

I think that the number 837 refers to the number of options that Porsche will gladly allow you to pay for.

I suppose that you could, but I say no. The Mustang and Camaro went away from their original shapes and then came back with cars that mimicked popular first generation models. The 911, of course, has simply evolved. In fact, when I had my 996 sitting in the garage next to the 356, it was obvious to most anyone that

Nice review Travis. I was fortunate enough to get to drive a 991S on the track at about 5/10s and I agree on all points. The PDK is so good that I almost would opt for one. Almost. Modern technology is a funny thing. It makes cars faster, but feel slower and less exciting. I suppose that's the price we pay.

Hamilton was my number 3, not sure why I cut the list short. The reason that I have Alonso first is that I don't think his car is as good as the Red Bull or McLaren. Also, I look at how they compare to their teammate, which is why Vettel is listed as second. It's a fun game to play when making comparisons. I wish

I almost included something about 3,4, & 5 could be swapped. Had we not lost Clark, who knows how many championships he would have won. The stories that I've read on Fangio are just astounding. He always seemed to drive just fast enough to win, however much or little that took.

All time:

Ahh, get a whiff of the sickly stench of statism.
