Really? REALLY? Please, give me a break. Tell this bullshit story to someone who doesn't think GM let you see this car on purpose. GM wanted a reaction to see if they needed to tweak the details and maybe build a little more excitement about the C7. Either you were a willing accomplice or a useful idiot.

Well, based on the response here, it appears that GM is getting the feedback they were looking for before it was too late to change anything.

I hate it when someone has a great car and then puts some decal on the windows. Just ruins the whole thing for me.

So is this that new Morgan that I've been hearing about?

Someone doesn't understand liberty, and it ain't the guy in the truck. Fucking malcontents.

I'm pretty sure that's a Ferrari...

Still makes more sense that the 5 series GT or the X6...

GM can only sell 1000 Chevy Solyndras, er Volts a month, on their best month and you say it's not a failure? Ford was selling 4,000 Edsels a month and I believe that we can all consider it more than just a failure of Ford's sales estimates.

Wait. Are you saying that you can find pictures of women's breasts on the internet now?

I hate white cars too, but it does work well on this car, particularly with the red interior.

Nice price. Clean, apparently well sorted, good color combo, best body style & engine combo. Drive it and enjoy it for a few years and then sell it and move on. This is a car that you can own essentially for free.

Yep, more fun to drive than my 996!

Here's my car, a '65 356SC, which was the highest horsepower of any OHV 356. How much horsepower? A whole 95 (actually 107 by American SAE standards). 0 - 60 happens in just a tick under 13 seconds. It feels a lot faster and loves to cruise all day at 80 mph, but it sure ain't as quick as Porsches are perceived to

I believe that we all know what is embossed on this car's wallet.

I'll be detailing a Cayman S on Saturday. Glad it ain't this one.

Define 'hidden'...

I find both this and the Cayman R/ Audi TT RS/ BMW M1 threads very interesting. My daily driver is a 996, which I love, but will probably be replacing it in a year or so. Several of these cars are on my list, along with the 996 twin turbo and RS Spyder.

$300,000???? Way too much. I bet half those cars don't even run!

The IMS stopped being a (potential) issue with the introduction of the new direct injected engines in 2009.
