In my retelling I incorrectly mentioned the door not opening properly. We eventually opened the door atleast one of the times but failed to fix the issue by jumping or disconnecting the battery. The car was towed off.

I was aware of the key fob. Trust me, it didn’t help. In the first situation we eventually jumped the car but the immobilizer kept the car locked up and unable to start. The battery was less the problem than the immobilizer.

you just ruined this road. My father and I took it last year on the way up for some college visits. Now that i go to college in Cali it’ll be too crowded with jalops to take advantage.
