Too bad we missed the chance to ask him which wet tires KPAX was using... ;)
all you need to watch it online is go to http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episod… with the chrome browser extension "Hola Better Internet" installed to trick bbc into thinking you are british.
I was talking to the guy at the launch just now. Really emphasized the tires. Nothing else is different besides a few aesthetic touches. No manual obviously
Actually Porsche had the massive tocuhscreen in the 918 before the tesla
I guess I never realized how irrelevant dry weight is when they have that data available.
It weighs 400lbs more when not dry ? How big is its gas tank?
Unlike non OEM headunits, this one sits very flush with the dash, most of the others stick out and look ridiculous. If you can the screen off, this one is very subdued by comparison. Those would look hideous in the cabin where as this matches and doesn't look out of place
Alot of older 911's already had the original unit removed for some awful aftermarket unit, i'd put this in to replace it. the sd card music and bluetooth is actually alot more important that GPS to me. The phone option is the real killer. If you have a classic 911 that you drive often that isn't a garage queen, I…
Handbrake all the things
can confirm, very good
better lock the jalopnik office doors, I just saw Mike Spinelli driving your direction with a /drive shirt and a chainsaw.

As for the 1980s Defenders in this case, a 1981 version of the car isn't substantially different from a later model and not necessarily more or less safe than an SUV sold in the U.S. in the same period. It may even be safer than, say, a small car from the 1990s, due to its sheer size.
Point being I'm good because my fiesta still has a manual and a real handbrake, even with it's stupid push start and idiotic entertainment system
